Personal Experience

Peyton was born and raised in Yankton, South Dakota, and graduated from Yankton High School in 2019. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Dakota in 2022 and went on to attend the USD Knudson School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2025. That same year, he was admitted to practice law in the state of South Dakota.

Education & Activities

During law school, Peyton interned at Marlow, Woodward & Huff, where he gained valuable experience and developed a strong connection to the firm’s mission and clients. Now, as a licensed attorney, he is proud to officially continue his work with MWH and serve the community he calls home.

A lifelong resident of Yankton, Peyton is honored to practice law in his hometown. He deeply values the sense of community that makes Yankton special and is passionate about giving back, especially to the next generation. He currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Yankton Baseball Association and continues to coach Varsity and American Legion baseball.

Outside the office, Peyton enjoys officiating high school sports, cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Minnesota Twins, and Denver Broncos, and golfing (though he’s still working on his swing). He also loves to travel, spend time with his people, and can often be found supporting local athletics at YHS and Mount Marty University.
