Natasha was born and raised in Yankton, South Dakota, graduating magna cum laude from Yankton High School in 2016. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Anthropology from the University of South Dakota, graduating summa cum laude in 2020. Following graduation, Natasha was a Correctional Officer at the Minnehaha County Juvenile Detention Center where she became a Special Lay Magistrate. Natasha returned to school in 2021, attending USD Knudson School of Law.

Personal Experience & Activities

Throughout her time at USD Knudson School of Law, Natasha worked in Vermillion as a bank teller and at the law school as a law library research assistant. Natasha also interned with Marlow, Woodward & Huff gaining experience in personal injury law and estate planning and felt she had finally found her match for a career environment.

In 2024, Natasha was admitted to practice law in South Dakota, followed by her admission to practice in the United States District Court in the District of South Dakota in 2025. She is a board member for the First Judicial Circuit of the Young Lawyers Section of the South Dakota State Bar.

Natasha is excited to be back in Yankton, with its abundance of outdoor activities and sense of community. She enjoys kayaking, walking the various trails and Meridian Bridge, arts and crafts, and hosting paint parties with her friends. Natasha and her husband Vick share an adorable infant son —named Memphis—and a rambunctious black labrador retriever named Kashi.
