Beau practices mainly in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury, real estate disputes, construction litigation, employment discrimination, worker’s compensation, and business litigation.
Membership and Activities
Beau serves on the board and is a supporting member of the Yankton Arts Association. Beau has also served on the board of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association. Beau’s wife April is a nurse at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital. Beau and April have three children and enjoy camping, skiing, and spending time outdoors as a family. Beau is also an avid homebrewer and home remodeler.
Beau graduated from the University of Montana in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. In 2010 Beau moved to Yankton with his wife April and began his studies at the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2011. During Law School, Beau served on the South Dakota Law Review board and the Trial Team. Beau lived in Vermillion through law school returning to Yankton in 2014 after graduation to begin work as an associate attorney with Marlow, Woodward, and Huff. Beau has been admitted to practice law in the state of South Dakota and in the United States District Courts in South Dakota. He is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the South Dakota State Bar.
